Job Overview:

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be the face of the company at customer sites, providing expert technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for automation and robotics systems. You will ensure the equipment operates at peak performance and deliver exceptional service that builds lasting customer relationships.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform on‑site installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of automation equipment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic system failures.
• Provide technical interface between customers and internal engineering teams.
• Assist with Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and installation preparation.
• Train customers on equipment operation, maintenance, and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with the Customer Service Team to ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Prepare and submit detailed service reports in a timely manner.
• Promote value‑added services, including spare parts, upgrades, and service contracts.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and equipment updates.
• Support engineering teams in product development and improvement projects.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer or in a similar technical field role.
• Strong technical troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems.
• Willingness to travel extensively to customer sites (local and overseas).
• Valid Class 3 driving license (advantageous).
• Experience with automation, robotics, PLCs, or motion control systems.
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, etc.).
• Background in servo systems, sensors, or machine safety standards.
• Customer‑focused mindset with problem‑solving ability.
