Job Responsibilities
Facility operation
- Maintain smooth operation and maintenance of critical system including:
- Clean room environment management
- HVAC, exhaust, and related mechanical systems, including scrubbers
- Electrical systems (high voltage and low voltage)
- Process cooling water systems
- Pure water, wastewater treatment, and reclaim plant operations
- Chemical delivery systems (e.g., resist, plating/developing solutions, stripping, etching, flux cleaning) and bulk gas (e.g., nitrogen) delivery
- Building management and maintenance
- Maintain continuous supply of utilities and ensure all facilities meet performance specifications to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Maintain accurate records of important specification parameters, maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections conducted within the facility.
- Identify opportunities to enhance facility operations and propose improvements in terms of efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability.
- Respond to repair requests and ensure that repairs are completed efficiently and in accordance with safety regulations and standards.
- Provide urgent troubleshooting support for facilities equipment, including during off‑hours, ensuring uninterrupted operations.
Preventive Maintenance
- Execute in-house preventive maintenance to minimize facilities equipment downtime,
- Supports in Permit-To-Work coordination for Facilities department, focusing on managing conflict of operation, maintenance and installation work schedule to minimize impacts to Production and the site in general.
Performance and Improvement
- Achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) set by your departmental head to sustain top-tier facilities systems.
Safety
- Be a team member of the ERT (Emergency Response Team)
Perform any other ad‑hoc duties as assigned by the Manager, as required to support the team and organizational goals.
Job Requirements
Professional Qualifications
- Nitec or relevant technical studies in Mechanical / Electrical or related field
- 2 years working experience, preferably with relevant hands‑on experience in semiconductor manufacturing related.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills
- Able to use Microsoft Office Applications, specifically MS Excel
- Strong communication and organizational skill
Attributes
- Comfortable to be on standby and return to the office within 2 hours of emergency.
