Job summary

A local SME in engineering and facilities management is seeking an experienced individual in Singapore to lead a team of technicians. Responsibilities include coordinating maintenance, tracking activities, and preparing reports. The candidate should hold a diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and have at least 2 years of relevant experience. Strong knowledge in HVAC and the ability to work independently are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

Job description

We are a local SME company. This position will be stationed at eastern part of Singapore.

Job Descriptions
  • Lead a team of technicians to handle service requests
  • Coordinate with business units to perform ad hoc/scheduled maintenance
  • Track all maintenance activities and prepare maintenance reports
  • Oversees and inspects the work performed
  • Reviews assigned work orders. Estimates time & materials needed to complete repair. Ordering of necessary materials & supplies to complete all tasks & maintaining the store inventory.
  • Prepare a clear development brief in respect of the Project’s quality, cost and time requirements and limitations.
  • Advise on the procurement strategy and prepare project budget and tender documents (pre-contract & post contract administration and procedures).
  • Attend weekly site meetings with all stake holders and the like.
  • Prepare and present weekly and monthly reports to teams.
  • Facilitate and provide oversight on Consultant progress.
  • Provide building technical support to Facility Management encompassing commercial, industrial and residential properties.
  • Conduct conditional inspection on existing buildings and inspection for handing and taking over of new developments as required.
  • Provide advise on technical issues to Client.
  • Perform project management work in various projects like building repairs and replacement and additional and alteration works specifically new green field industrial works.
  • Coordinate closely with contractors/sub-contractors or site teams to ensure delivery of result.
  • Provide Project Management support as required on other projects.
Requirement
  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Building/Facilities Maintenance/Electrical Engineering
  • Good knowledge in HVAC installation and building management system
  • Self-motivated & able to work independently & a team player
  • Excellent collaboration & influencing skills
  • Strong technical knowledge
  • Preferably with Class 3 driving license
