Job Title: Facilities Engineer

Reporting To: Facilities Manager / Senior Engineer

Role Objective:

Manage engineering systems, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, and optimize asset performance while maintaining SLA and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Overall responsibility for Hard Services systems performance:
  • ACMV, Electrical, Fire Protection, Lifts, Plumbing, ELV
  • Plan, review, and optimize PM strategies and maintenance regimes.
  • Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring failures and propose corrective actions.
  • Manage and review vendor performance, quotations, and scope of works.
  • Prepare technical evaluations, method statements, and risk assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with local authorities and regulations (e.g. BCA, SCDF, EMA).
  • Support audits (internal, client, statutory).
  • Review technical aspects of Variation Orders (VOs).
  • Assist FSM in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Building Services).
  • 5 years of FM engineering experience.
  • PE registration is an advantage for regulated systems.
