The Service Team Leader (Banquet) will be required to maintain constant contact with the host, to ensure that the event runs seamlessly. He/She is also responsible to ensure that the function rooms are kept clean, tidy and maintains detailed reports for the management regarding each event that is held.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct roll-calls before event to brief associates on job assignments and details of event.
  • Resolve guests' complaints and maintains the authority to refuse alcoholic beverages to intoxicated customers.
  • Lead and supervise a team of banquet associates which includes ensuring that the team adheres to grooming standards and delivers banquet service according to the hotel standards.
  • Supervise the set-up of event space and inspects function layouts and settings, ensuring adherence to service quality and hygiene standards.
  • Check and inspect Banquet facilities and equipment on a regular basis and reports any repair and maintenance.
  • Assist the Banquet Operations Manager in carrying out his/her function to efficiently administer and organize the Banquet Operations.
  • Close bill and raise event report after all events.
  • Comply with all relevant Workplace Safety & Health practices and maintains a safe workplace for all associates.
  • Ensure that the Hotel’s properties and facilities are protected and are kept in good working condition. Reports any loss or damage to the Hotel’s properties and facilities promptly and appropriately.
Qualifications
