Job summary

A logistics solutions provider in Singapore is looking for a professional in air freight logistics. Responsibilities include maintaining customer communication, ensuring compliance with export documents, and applying export permits. Candidates should have experience in the air freight industry and preferably speak Japanese. This position requires exceptional service skills and effective communication across departments.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in air freight logistics is preferred.
• Speaks and writes Japanese with knowledge of the culture is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain direct communication with customers, providing exceptional, friendly, and reliable service.
• Ensure flight details are provided to customers within the specified time frame.
• Verify export document compliance when processing export work orders.
• Apply the correct export permits and process other export customs in a timely manner.
• Respond to all calls promptly.
• Continuously monitor the onboard status and notify customers of discrepancies.
• Foster effective communication across relevant departments.
• Ensure up-to-date airfreight rates are applied.

• Continuously monitor the onboard status and notify customers of any discrepancies or irregularities.
• Foster effective communication across all relevant departments (e.g., Operations, Warehouse, Traffic, and Planning teams).
• Ensure that the correct and up-to-date airfreight rates are applied.

Requirements

• 2 years’ experience in air freight logistic industry is preferred
• Speaks and write Japanese with knowledge of the culture is preferred
