Key Responsibilities
  • Manage fleet availability and reliability, maintenance production of assigned workbays with crew and material inventory. Provide technical engineering expertise for maintenance programs, schedules, asset modifications. Fleets include airport specialty vehicles, aerospace ground equipment/ground support equipment, as well as other automotive fleets. Fleets include internal combustion engine, electric vehicles/equipment, fleets using hydraulics and software.
  • Manage equipment data, spares supply, develop maintainers' competencies and workshop capabilities so as to improve production and drive continuous improvement, operational excellence and safety. Provide training to maintenance staff.
  • Achieve targeted asset performance and workshop service levels within budget and allocated resources, and in compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Liaise with users and user departments, and engage customers and regulators during audits/inspections of maintenance activities.
  • Manage contractors and maintenance contracts for outsourced maintenance functions and activities.
  • Evaluate equipment/vehicles to be purchased by proposing design specifications, conducting factory inspections and commissioning tests.

  • Able to be on duty occasional during weekends
  • Has a valid Class 3 driving license
