Overview

Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.

Job Responsibilities
  • Motivate and lead staff to engage and entertain audience through creating memorable and meaningful experiences via Toy Doctor experiential activities and workshops, instil interest in guests for their participation and revisits
  • Responsible for ensuring positivecustomer interactions with guests
  • Communicate with guests and Toy Doctors clearly and deliver basic toy repair and restoration with empathy and precision.
  • Address any customer queries and complaints and responsible for guest satisfaction scores for Toy Doctor, GBR.
  • Uphold and demonstrate Mandai Wildlife Group values — ETHICS (Excellence, Teamwork, Hospitality, Integrity, Care for Wildlife, Sustainability);
  • Assist Supervisor in driving Toy Doctor sales and experience conversion.
  • Through data analytics (e.g. best sellers/ experience, conversion, average spend etc), provide suggestions in increasing sales to meet target or budget;
  • Learn and provide basic toy repair and restoration services
  • Stay up to date and open to share with guests relevant park membership, conservation efforts and related information in aid of providing a holistic experience to guest;
  • Lead and facilitate workshops and activities
  • Operate booking system and customer data retrieval system to ensure smooth running of the centre operations
  • Upkeep store cleanliness and tidiness, ensuring Toy experiences are well represented
  • Operate point-of-sales system and backend processes, ensure accuracy in sales and inventory
  • Execute any other administrative activities
Qualifications
  • Minimum GCE ‘O’ level
  • Minimum 2-3 Years of relevant formal/informal experience in customer service-related role
  • Fun loving, able to engage and entertain children of all ages
  • Creative and receptive to new ideas
  • Friendly, approachable personality with a passion for service
  • Service oriented, patient with good communication skills
  • Interested in or possess basic sewing skills
  • Able to lift heavy stocks and stand long hours
  • Able to work on weekends and Public Holidays
