What the role is

You will be part of a project team working closely with the appointed consultant and stakeholders on the development of the Integrated Waste Management Facility Phase 2 (IP2), Mechanical Technical Team (MTT) – a large-scale waste management infrastructural project.

What you will be working on

Your main responsibilities are as follows:

• Review and evaluate technical design submissions for mechanical equipment and process systems such as waste handling cranes, incinerators, boilers, steam turbine‑generators, flue gas treatments, and ash handling.
• Work closely with the consultant, relevant agencies and authorities to oversee the construction and commissioning of IWMF Phase 2 project.
• Prepare tender documents, call and execute contract management such as verify and process progress payments, and monitor and manage budget.
• Lead a technical team to ensure safe and efficient operation of facilities when IWMF Phase 2 is in operational stage.

What we are looking for

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in waste‑to‑energy facilities preferred, though candidates without experience will be considered.
• Responsible, committed, resourceful, and a good team player.
• Good interpersonal communication, presentation and writing skills.
• Willing and able to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays, when required during the commissioning and operational stages of IWMF Phase 2.
