Job summary

A government environmental agency in Singapore is seeking an Electrical Engineer for the Integrated Waste Management Facility Phase 2 project. The role entails reviewing technical designs, managing construction phases, and leading a technical team to ensure operational safety. Candidates should possess a degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering and have relevant experience, preferably in waste-to-energy facilities. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work shifts are essential. Shortlisted candidates will undergo further assessments.

Qualifications

What the role is

You will be part of a project team working closely with the appointed consultant and stakeholders on the development of the Integrated Waste Management Facility Phase 2 (IP2), Electrical Technical Team (ETT) – a large-scale waste management infrastructural project.

What you will be working on

Your main responsibilities are as follows:

  • Review and evaluate technical design submissions for electrical equipment, process, instrument, control and automation systems such as waste handling cranes, incinerators, boilers, steam turbine-generators, flue gas treatments, and ash handling, etc.
  • Work closely with the consultant, relevant agencies and authorities to oversee the construction and commissioning of IWMF Phase 2 project
  • Prepare tender documents, call and execute contract management such as verify and process progress payments, and monitor and manage budget
  • Lead a technical team to ensure safe and efficient operation of facilities when IWMF Phase 2 is in operational stage
What we are looking for
