Job description
Job Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the CEO, covering both business and personal matters.
  • Support project teams by assisting in the management and control of costs, budgets, and related reporting.
  • Conduct financial and business analysis to assist in preparing acquisition proposals for submission to the investment committee and key stakeholders.
  • Manage and coordinate the CEO’s calendar, appointments, and schedules to ensure optimal time management.
  • Handle and review the CEO’s incoming correspondence (emails, letters, etc.), drafting and initiating replies where appropriate.
  • Provide regular updates to the CEO on the status of ongoing matters, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Coordinate all travel logistics, including flight bookings, hotel reservations, and travel itineraries.
  • Oversee personal financial matters including updating bank account statements, monitoring payment schedules, and basic bookkeeping.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations, including bank, cashbook, and journal breakdowns.
  • Plan, organize, and coordinate all aspects of company meetings, board sessions, and corporate events.
  • Prepare and submit expense claims for the CEO in a timely manner.
  • Undertake other ad hoc duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience, preferably with a corporate finance background.
  • Professional finance/accounting credentials (e.g., Chartered Accountant, ACCA) highly preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities under pressure.
