Job Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the CEO, covering both business and personal matters.
- Support project teams by assisting in the management and control of costs, budgets, and related reporting.
- Conduct financial and business analysis to assist in preparing acquisition proposals for submission to the investment committee and key stakeholders.
- Manage and coordinate the CEO’s calendar, appointments, and schedules to ensure optimal time management.
- Handle and review the CEO’s incoming correspondence (emails, letters, etc.), drafting and initiating replies where appropriate.
- Provide regular updates to the CEO on the status of ongoing matters, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Coordinate all travel logistics, including flight bookings, hotel reservations, and travel itineraries.
- Oversee personal financial matters including updating bank account statements, monitoring payment schedules, and basic bookkeeping.
- Perform monthly reconciliations, including bank, cashbook, and journal breakdowns.
- Plan, organize, and coordinate all aspects of company meetings, board sessions, and corporate events.
- Prepare and submit expense claims for the CEO in a timely manner.
- Undertake other ad hoc duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience, preferably with a corporate finance background.
- Professional finance/accounting credentials (e.g., Chartered Accountant, ACCA) highly preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities under pressure.
