Job summary

A global logistics company based in Singapore is hiring for a role focused on air freight operations. You will support day-to-day tasks, manage customer inquiries, optimize bookings, and foster relationships with carriers. The ideal candidate has significant experience in air freight forwarding and strong analytical and negotiation skills, combined with a relevant degree or diploma.

Responsibilities

• Assist the team for the freight planning on the day to day tasks
• Answer internal and overseas offices enquiries
• Secure airline space for daily bookings
• Ensure all BUPs are optimized and maximized
• Proactively anticipate commercial demand for uplift capacity
• Ensure timely update of the airline final load
• Handle queries and complaints from customers
• Maintain good working relationships with carriers

IN THIS JOB YOU WILL:

• Assist the team for the freight planning on the day to day tasks

• Secure airline space for daily bookings
• Ensure that all BUPs are fully optimized and maximized
• Proactively anticipate commercial demand for uplift capacity
• Ensure timely update of the airline final load
• Ensure that complete documents are accompanied for export processing
• Handle queries and complaints from internal and external customers
• Maintain and foster good working relationship with carriers
• Undertakes other tasks and responsibilities assigned by the company as and when deemed appropriate
