We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Events Production Specialist to join our Creative Agency team. As an Events Production Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical and logistical aspects of our live and virtual events, ensuring smooth execution and high-quality audience experiences. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of live event equipment, venue logistics, and remote production setup, excellent problem‑solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑stakes environment.
What will I be doing?
- Coordinate and manage the setup, operation, and teardown of event production elements, including audio‑visual (AV) equipment, staging, lighting, and virtual event platforms.
- Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to develop and execute effective event production plans, timelines, and technical riders.
- Conduct venue site visits and technical checks to ensure all production requirements are met and integrated smoothly with the location’s infrastructure.
- Monitor and manage all technical parameters during both live and virtual events, troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues (e.g., sound feedback, lighting errors, connectivity, stream quality) promptly and effectively.
- Manage post‑event tasks, such as archiving content, compiling technical reports, and providing summary data on virtual event performance.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends in live, hybrid, and virtual event production.
What is required of me?
- Proficiency in managing and operating professional AV equipment for live events, including sound boards, projection systems, presentation software, and stage lighting.
- Familiarity with virtual/hybrid event platforms (e.g., Zoom Events, dedicated event platforms) and live‑streaming protocols.
- Strong technical aptitude and problem‑solving skills to quickly address equipment malfunctions, venue restrictions, and production challenges under pressure.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple complex event projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
- Knowledge of event logistics, site planning, and vendor management best practices.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively liaise with internal teams, clients, and external technical vendors.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel and work irregular hours (evenings and weekends) as needed to support event production schedules.
