A leading hospitality company in Singapore is seeking an experienced Event Sales Executive / Assistant Event Sales Manager to support the Event Sales Manager. Responsibilities include driving leads, managing sales pipelines, engaging clients, and ensuring smooth event execution. Ideal candidates will have 1–2 years of experience in event sales or hospitality roles, with strong organizational and communication skills. The Event Sales Executive / Assistant Event Sales Manager supports the Event Sales Manager in driving leads, managing sales pipelines, coordinating events, and ensuring seamless communication across departments. The role focuses strongly on lead generation, client engagement, and assisting in event execution to maximise revenue and enhance guest satisfaction.
Act as the first point of contact for incoming event leads (email, calls, platforms).
Qualify leads and process all enquiries before handing over to the Event Sales Manager.
Maintain and update the sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups.
Assist in preparing event proposals, quotations, and client presentations.
Support the Event Sales Manager in achieving revenue targets.
Respond promptly and professionally to event enquiries to drive conversion.
Conduct basic site show-arounds and walk-throughs for prospective clients.
Build positive relationships with potential and existing clients to encourage repeat business.
Assist in managing client expectations throughout the event planning journey.
Support communication between Sales, Kitchen, and FOH operations.
Assist in pre-event preparations such as menu finalisation, setup requirements, and event briefs.
Coordinate onsite arrangements and ensure smooth event execution when required.
Ensure all events meet company standards and client expectations.
Ensure accurate documentation of enquiries, bookings, confirmations, and payment terms.
Assist in monitoring invoices and final payments to meet company credit policies.
Maintain organised event files, reports, and sales tracking systems.
Help maintain an updated database of customers, prospects, and key accounts.
Assist in building long‑term relationships to drive future bookings and referrals.
Handle general feedback and elevate when necessary.
Represent the company at trade events, client meetings, and networking activities when required.
Support the Event Sales Manager in company‑organised sales campaigns or marketing initiatives.
Carry out any other reasonable duties assigned to support the department.
Experience: 1–2 years of experience in event sales or hospitality‑related roles preferred.
Skills: Strong communication, organisational, and coordination skills.
Attributes: Self‑driven, proactive, service‑oriented, able to multitask, and results‑focused.
Teamwork: Ability to work independently yet collaborate closely within the team.
Bonus: Experience in event coordination, sales CRM, or hospitality operations is an advantage.
