Job Description

We are looking for a full-time Corporate Event & Portrait Photographer to join our growing creative team. This is a hands-on, on-location role focused on photographing corporate and government events, brand portraits, and selected private assignments.

You will cover live events such as product launches, conferences, and ministerial visits, as well as capture professional headshots, team photos, and lifestyle imagery for brands. Around 90% of your work will be on-site. You may also assist in studio assignments depending on client needs.

This role suits someone who is proactive, client-facing, and confident directing group shots. You’ll be expected to manage timelines, deliver polished images independently, and represent yourself and Firefly with professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Photograph corporate and government events including launches, D&Ds, conferences, and VIP engagements
  • Capture professional branding portraits on-site (headshots, team photos, lifestyle visuals)
  • Handle select private assignments such as family portraits or birthday shoots
  • Direct group photos and manage shoot flow
  • Edit and deliver work using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop
  • Liaise with clients and internal teams before, during, and after shoots
  • Attend site recces, project briefings, or assist with gear prep when required
Requirements

Work Schedule
  • 5.5 to 6-day work week, depending on project load
  • Weekday hours: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
  • Shoots may occur during evenings, weekends, or public holidays
  • Return to studio only when handling equipment or attending meetings
