Qualifications

• Genuine love and patience for working with young children.
• Responsible, punctual and able to work independently during closing hours.
• Prior preschool/childcare experience is an advantage.
• ECDA recognised certification is a plus, but not mandatory for assistant roles.
• Able to communicate in English; bilingual ability is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers in daily classroom routines and learning activities.
• Assist with end-of-day transitions, children’s dismissal and handover to parents/guardians.
• Maintain classroom cleanliness and hygiene.
• Prepare and tidy learning spaces for the next day.
• Assist with children’s care routines.
• Follow centre policies, safety procedures and ECDA guidelines.
