Job description

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet students’ learning needs.
• Develop lesson materials and teaching aids that enhance classroom participation.
• Conduct classroom administration and maintain a conducive learning environment.
• Mark assignments and assessments with constructive feedback.
• Track and report student progress each semester through progress reports.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents.
• Provide regular updates to parents on students’ academic performance and development.
• Conduct training sessions for part-time or new teachers when required.
• Represent the company at marketing events, open houses, and community outreach programs.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by the academic director.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Education or a related field.
• Teachers with CELTA, TESOL, or TEFL certifications will be given priority.
• Prior teaching or tutoring experience is preferred (MOE syllabus experience a plus).
• Passionate about teaching and able to engage students effectively.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Positive, nurturing, and patient personality with a natural rapport with children.
• Able to work on weekends and follow tuition centre’s operating schedule.
