Job description
Working hrs: Monday - Saturday

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage the overall delivery of engineering and construction projects on or ahead of schedule, ensuring all client expectations and contractual obligations are met.
  • Assign and manage resources to deliver works within budget, time, quality, and regulatory standards. Monitor and guide workflow, setting daily, weekly, and long‑term project goals.
  • Oversee specialist functions such as design, engineering, procurement, and construction, ensuring effective coordination and integration across multiple disciplines and work streams.
  • Review project progress against plans, contractual arrangements, and key milestones to ensure timely completion within quality and cost parameters, taking corrective action as necessary.
  • Implement strong contract, commercial, and financial risk management practices; ensure accurate cost and revenue forecasting; take corrective measures in accordance with CCCC authority and reporting frameworks to maximize project profitability.
  • Demonstrate leadership in risk management, compliance, and auditing; ensure adherence to legislative, pre‑contract, and commercial obligations, including compliance with relevant Building Codes.
  • Actively engage stakeholders and develop beneficial relationships with clients, subcontractors, communities, and other external parties to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor staffing and labour resources to ensure adequate capability for achieving project targets. Supervise and mentor team members, including subcontractors, fostering a high‑performance culture and positive employee relations.
  • Contribute to business development, continuous improvement initiatives, and broader organisational activities.
  • Coordinate with headquarters and site teams to secure sufficient resources for ongoing and upcoming projects.
  • Establish an effective project management structure and plan to execute construction and engineering works efficiently.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with company policies, processes, systems, reporting standards, and procedures.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum 15 years of extensive engineering experience, including proven expertise in the design, construction, and management of large‑scale chemical facilities, oil and liquid chemical depots and terminals, onshore and offshore pipelines, LPG & LNG terminals, and fine chemical plants.
  • Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognised institution.
  • Strong technical background with demonstrated capability in managing multidisciplinary engineering teams and complex industrial projects.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to coordinate across design, procurement, and construction functions.
  • Comprehensive understanding of safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance within the chemical and energy sectors.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects within schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
