Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Test Planning: Assist in the creation of test cases and test scenarios based on the product and software requirements.
• Test Execution: Execute software tests with the device to identify defects and ensure proper functionality of applications and device.
• User Acceptance Test (UAT): Execute User Acceptance Test on the production unit to ensure the product’s functionality performance prior shipment.
• Bug Reporting: Document, track, and report defects or issues in the application and follow up on their resolution.
• Test Planning: Assist in the creation of test protocol, test cases and test scenarios based on the requirements.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to ensure high-quality standards in product releases.
• Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing to ensure that recent changes and updates to the product and ensure system integration do not affect its functionality and performance.
• Support in customer complaint root cause investigation and issue verification related to software quality.

Qualifications and Competencies

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. 1-3 years of experience in software testing and technical documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot complex product, system, and application issues.
• Proficiency in designing and executing manual test cases. Familiarity with SDLC and test management tools such as JIRA, self‑starter, effective communicator, and team player. Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, SharePoint.
• Able to work in a dynamic environment and handle multiple tasks at a time.

Good to Have

• Experience with automated testing & tools.
• ISTQB certifications.
