Job summary

A leading technology firm in Singapore is seeking a candidate with a Diploma or Degree in Engineering to handle MEPL installation and construction works. This role requires at least 2–4 years of relevant experience in M&E or ACMV projects, strong skills in project execution, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD. The successful candidate will oversee project planning, ensure compliance with safety standards, and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Coordination
  • Plan and coordinate all MEPL installation and construction works according to project requirements.
  • Review and interpret project drawings, technical specifications, and design documents.
  • Prepare work schedules, manpower deployment plans, and progress updates.
  • Liaise with consultants, main contractors, and subcontractors to ensure work progress aligns with the project schedule.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with design, quality, and safety standards.
Technical & Documentation
  • Provide technical support and resolve site-related issues promptly.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation, including method statements, inspection reports, and test records.
  • Ensure all installation and testing works meet M&E and ACMV standards.
  • Support the commissioning and handover process with all necessary documentation.
Procurement & Cost Control
  • Work closely with the procurement team to source suitable materials and equipment.
  • Review supplier and subcontractor quotations to ensure technical and cost compliance.
  • Monitor usage of materials and labour to keep within budget limits.
Safety & Compliance
  • Ensure all site activities adhere to WSH and ISO safety standards.
  • Participate in safety audits, toolbox meetings, and risk assessments.
  • Implement corrective measures when non-compliance or deviations are identified.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in M&E / ACMV / construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of MEPL systems, design drawings, and installation procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
  • Independent, responsible, and able to multitask under pressure.
