Job summary

A commercial facilities management company in Singapore is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee and manage the building's hard and soft services. Responsibilities include leading the maintenance team, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and managing equipment repairs. Candidates should have a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and at least two years of experience in facilities management. Fire Safety Manager certification is a plus. Job Description
  • Oversee & Manage both Hard & Soft Services of a Commercial Building.

  • Lead and coordinates the day-to-day Building M&E maintenance and operations of the Building Maintenance Team.

  • Oversee the day-to-day housekeeping operations of the building.

  • Carry out scheduling of maintenance works and coordinates with all contractors and/or vendors.

  • Responsible for the planning and execution of corrective/preventive maintenance program.

  • Conduct regular inspection of existing building and its services to ensure that all maintenance programmes are implemented effectively in strict compliance with instructions and guidelines.

  • Able to understand building drawings and technical specifications.

  • Preparation of Monthly Building Management Report.

  • Arrange for repair works to be carried out and getting quotations.

  • Response to client enquiries and submission of report/quotations.

  • Proficient in the understanding of Building Automation System/BMS, ACMV, Fire Protection/Fire Alarm, Plumbing and Sanitary, etc.

  • Ensure all maintenance works are carried out in accordance with WSH regulations.

  • Any other relevant works as may be required.

Job Requirements
  • Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Facilities Management.

  • Minimum Two Years’ experience in Facilities Management / Building Maintenance works in a commercial building or shopping mall environment.

  • Possess hands on experience in equipment repair and servicing.

  • Fire Safety Manager certification will be an advantage.

  • Able to lead a team of Technicians.
