Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking candidates for engine servicing roles. The position involves assisting with the dismantling and cleaning of engine parts for various vehicles. Ideal candidates will possess an ITE/NITEC qualification and show a willingness to learn and work in a team. This is a 6-month renewable contract with working hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday. A strong emphasis is placed on ensuring a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of machine or engine handling.
• Willing to learn engine servicing and overhaul processes.

Job description

Period: 6 Months contract (Renewable)

Location: Boon Lay

Working Hours: Mon – Fri (8:00am to 5:00pm)

Salary: Up to $2700

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in the dismantling and removal of engine components during overhaul for trucks, passenger vehicles, and buses
• Clean and wash engine parts using appropriate tools and solutions to ensure they are free from oil, grease, and debris before reassembly
• Support technicians in engine servicing activities, including preparation of tools, organizing parts, and maintaining a clean and safe work area
• Inspect and sort cleaned engine parts to ensure quality and readiness for reinstallation
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned, such as workshop housekeeping, basic maintenance tasks, and assisting in related mechanical operations

Job Requirements

• Min ITE/NITEC in related education
• Basic knowledge of machine or engine handling
• Willing to learn engine servicing and overhaul processes
• Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
