Job summary

An aviation maintenance company in Singapore is seeking an Engine Technician to ensure high standards in aircraft engine maintenance and overhaul. The role involves engine build and strip operations, module inspections, and adherence to OEM and regulatory standards. Candidates should have a technical certification and at least 2 years of relevant experience, with strong skills in teamwork and communication. 🔧 Engine Technician – Build/Strip, Module & Component Sentencing

✈️ Your Role

As an Engine Technician, you will support end-to-end engine maintenance activities, from build and strip operations to module and component inspections, ensuring all work meets OEM and regulatory standards.

🔩 Key Responsibilities
Engine Build & Strip
  • Disassemble and assemble aircraft engines into modules for repair and overhaul
  • Install engine parts and components in accordance with approved technical procedures
  • Carry out troubleshooting, modification, and maintenance tasks as required
Module Sentencing
  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections on aero-engine modules and parts
  • Ensure strict compliance with engine manuals, OEM instructions, and approved documentation
  • Support Engineering and Quality teams during workscope reviews and investigations
  • Adhere to workplace safety standards and maintain high workmanship quality
  • Properly use, maintain, and care for tools, equipment, and hand tools
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities and skills development
  • Carry out additional duties assigned by the Team Leader or Work Area Head
Component Sentencing
  • Conduct detailed visual and dimensional inspections of engine components
  • Inspect parts in accordance with engine manual specifications
  • Interpret technical drawings and inspection criteria accurately
  • Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with team members across functions

  • Aerospace or relevant technical certification preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in the aviation industry as a qualified technician (OJT, helper, or assistant experience not included)
  • Strong practical and theoretical knowledge to meet skill assessment standards
