Roles & Responsibilities

The Endpoints Support Specialist will be responsible for managing endpoint devices and ensuring smooth deployment, configuration, and support for the company's IT environment. This role covers the procurement, evaluation, and maintenance of endpoint devices, as well as creating and managing image builds to support technology refreshes and ad hoc IT requirements. The specialist will also stay updated on emerging technologies and make recommendations to improve IT efficiency and security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the lifecycle of endpoint devices, including procurement, configuration, deployment, and decommissioning (e.g. PCs, notebooks, printers, scanners, and embedded systems).
  • Create, configure, and maintain standard image builds for deployment.
  • Source, evaluate, and recommend endpoint devices to meet organisational needs and enhance IT security posture.
  • Support and strengthen end-user relations by providing responsive troubleshooting and user assistance.
  • Plan and execute IT deployments, technology refresh cycles, and ad hoc support requests.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis for endpoint-related issues.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure endpoint security, compliance, and alignment with organisational policies.
  • Keep abreast of the latest IT industry products, trends, and services for continuous improvement.
