You will be responsible for the engineering coordination, procurement, construction supervision, testing, and commissioning of metro electrical power systems, with a strong preference for candidates experienced in high-voltage (HV) systems. Candidates with purely low-voltage (LV) building services background will not be prioritised.

This position offers hands‑on exposure to major MRT and rail infrastructure projects and the opportunity to work in an international engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist or lead (depending on seniority) the design coordination, procurement, installation, testing, energisation, and commissioning of HV electrical systems for metro projects.
  • Handle substation systems, traction power supply, and power distribution networks.
  • Review and check 11kV / 22kV single‑line diagrams, switchgear layouts, protection schemes, and technical submissions.
  • Coordinate with LTA, SP Group, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to resolve technical and site issues.
  • Supervise site works, inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.
  • Monitor project progress, quality, safety, and cost control to meet project milestones.
  • Prepare method statements, inspection and test plans (ITP), testing reports, and progress updates.
  • Ensure all works comply with statutory requirements, safety regulations, and project specifications.
Mandatory Requirements
  • Must have prior hands‑on experience in MRT / Metro / Railway electrical power supply system projects.
  • High Voltage (HV) experience is highly preferred (11kV / 22kV / 33kV).
  • Candidates with only Low Voltage (LV) building services background will not be prioritised.
Other Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree or above in Electrical Engineering / Power Systems or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 4–10+ years of relevant experience (mid to senior level will be considered).
Practical knowledge of:
  • HV switchgear systems
  • Substations & traction power
  • HV testing, protection relays, and energisation
  • Familiar with LTA / EMA / SP Group standards and procedures.
  • Good coordination, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Fluent in English; Mandarin is an advantage.
  • Willing to be stationed at project sites as required.
  • Singapore Citizens / PR preferred (others subject to work pass availability).
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary, negotiable and commensurate with experience and level (mid or senior).
  • Exposure to major MRT and rail infrastructure projects in Singapore.
  • Stable long‑term employment with structured career progression.
  • Opportunities to grow into Senior Engineer / Technical Lead roles.
  • A professional and supportive work environment with strong emphasis on safety and quality.
