About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Electrical Installation Engineer to join our project team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all electrical installation works for our projects in the stringent environments of the pharmaceutical industries. This role demands a strong technical background in electrical systems, proven site management capabilities, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, instrumentation, and control panels.
• Review electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications to ensure compliance with project and safety standards (e.g., SS, IEC).
• Coordinate with clients, main contractors, and subcontractors to ensure the smooth execution of electrical works within schedule and budget.
• Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and tests (e.g., megger test, continuity test) to ensure the highest quality of workmanship.
• Prepare method statements, risk assessments, and daily progress reports.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any electrical issues that arise during the construction phase.
• Ensure strict adherence to all workplace safety and health (WSH) regulations and electrical safety procedures.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in electrical installation construction management, specifically within the pharmaceutical, chemical, or petrochemical sectors.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Mandarin is mandatory to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical codes and standards relevant to Singapore.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced project environment.
