Job summary

A leading educational organization in Singapore is seeking a qualified individual to design caregiving routines and lesson plans consistent with the Early Years Development Framework. The candidate must have relevant certifications in infant and toddler care, focusing on fostering positive relationships with children and their families. Qualifications

  • Must be registered with ECDA and possess EY1/EY2 certification.
  • Experience in early childhood education preferred.

Job description
Responsibilities:
  • Design a caregiving routine and lesson plans that are consistent with the Early Years Development Framework.
  • Create developmentally suitable materials and resources to improve the quality of the learning environment.
  • Track children's learning and development to inform and improve planning and teaching.
  • Regularly review and ensure compliance with health, safety, nutrition, and hygiene practices according to the Star Learners' standard operating procedures.
  • Apply effective strategies that foster respectful, responsive, and reciprocal relationships with infants and toddlers.
  • Cultivate positive relationships and partnerships with stakeholders by actively involving children's families and the broader community.
Requirements:
  • Has Certificate in Infant and Toddler Care and Development (CIT) / Higher Certificate in Infant Care (HCIC) / Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY)
  • Has registered with ECDA and attained the EY1/ EY2 certification
