Role Overview

As an EDI Specialist (SBI), you will be responsible for the architecture, design, enhancement, and support of CMA CGM’s EDI communication platform, built on IBM Sterling Business Integrator (SBI).

Key Responsibilities
  • Enhance and maintain the SBI platform, focusing on new functionalities and performance optimization.
  • Improve SBI framework architecture and communication protocols (AS2, POP3/SMTP, SFTP, FTP) to ensure platform stability and scalability.
  • Proactively monitor system performance and stability; lead initiatives to address and resolve issues.
  • Take ownership of critical incidents, coordinate investigations, and drive resolution.
  • Ensure proper documentation, testing, and quality control for all enhancements and fixes.
What We’re Looking For
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, or a related field from a recognized institution.
  • Approximately 5 years of experience managing and enhancing SBI-based systems, supporting time‑critical EDI applications, and assisting with EDI partner setups.
  • Strong expertise in IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (SBI), including transmission protocols, setup, log analysis, and hands‑on experience with version 6; knowledge of IBM ITX Mapper is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of EDI communication protocols and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Proficient in Oracle SQL/PL‑SQL; experience with Oracle 19+ is an advantage.
