Responsibilities

Transporting documents, packages, and other items to and from the company office and clients or customers.

Picking up and dropping off items within a designated delivery zone.

Loading and unloading items from your delivery vehicle and ensuring they are securely stored for transportation.

Requires physical ability and stamina to move heavier items.

Planning and optimizing delivery routes to fulfill all delivery obligations in an efficient manner.

Consider factors like traffic and weather conditions to determine the most effective routes.

Maintaining detailed records of all deliveries, pickups, and other dispatch activities.

Obtaining signatures from clients upon delivery and pickup.

Records must be accurately logged for accountability and billing purposes.

Ensuring delivery vehicles are kept clean and in working order.

Performing basic maintenance checks and refueling vehicles as needed to avoid disruptions to delivery schedules.

Providing excellent customer service to clients.

Being courteous, professional, and able to address any questions or concerns from clients regarding deliveries or pickups.

Complying with all traffic laws and safety procedures to ensure deliveries are made on time without incident.

Safe driving and operating standards must be followed to prevent injury or damage.

Job Requirements
