Job Responsibilities

• Driver is to ensure that the clients are safe and punctually transported to and from any designated location and adhere strictly to the arranged schedule.
• To ensure that the vehicle is equipped with safety equipment such as wheelchairs restraint, fire extinguisher, first aid box and seat belts at all times.
• Ensure the vehicle and equipment such as hydraulic lifter, fire extinguisher, and seat belts are regularly checked, maintained and serviced.
• Ensure safety of clients at all times and not limited to ensuring securely fastening of seat belt, securing wheelchair in the vehicle, passenger is fastened with seat belt throughout the whole journey and etc.
• Driver is to maintain vehicle cleanliness for both interior and exterior at all times.
• Assist in providing any transporting service within organisation request and not limited to banking, mailing and hand delivery of documents to any premises within the organisation.
• To perform daily preventive check on vehicle and equipment to ensure it is in good function for next working day operation at the end of the shift.
• In the event of any emergency, driver shall adhere to the company procedure on Contigency Plan, Transport Standard Operation Procedure.
• Perform duties as assigned by Reporting Officer.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years relevant experience.
• Possess class 3 driving license with good driving record.
• Able to communicate and read in simple English.
• Possess First Aid/AED/CPR preferred.
• Good public relations.
• Mature and pleasant.
• Able to start within short notice.
