Job summary

A leading surveying consultancy firm in Singapore is seeking a CAD Draftsman to develop and update CAD drawings based on engineers' specifications. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in infrastructure projects, proficiency in AutoCAD or Microstation, and strong organizational skills. This role requires commitment to a 5.5-day work week and is open to Singaporeans, permanent residents, or Malaysians.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in infrastructure projects' implementation.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop CAD drawings from rough sketches and specifications from Engineers.
• Responsible for updating drawings with the latest information.
• Maintain version control of incoming, working, and outgoing drawing files.

Job description

Roles & Responsibilities

• Reports to Survey Manager
• Develop CAD drawings from rough sketches/ CAD and specifications from Engineers
• Responsible for updating drawings as per the latest information provided
• Carry out authorities’ submissions and follow up
• Maintain proper version control of incoming, working, and outgoing drawing files, ensuring clear and consistent naming conventions and versioning.
• Work closely with Engineers, Project Manager, or CAD/BIM team members to ensure successful completion of assignment within the given timeline
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• NITEC/Professional Certificate in drafting or equivalent, Diploma/Degree in Civil, Structural Engineering, Architectural or 5 years of relevant experience
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in infrastructure projects' implementation
• Proficient in AutoCAD and/or Microstation
• Proficient in MS office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Good organizational, problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with technical teams.
• Willing to commit to 5.5 working days each week
