Job description

Job and responsibilities:

1. Prepare detailed drawings, plans, and layouts based on specifications, sketches, or instructions provided by engineers or designers.
2. Ensure adherence to drafting standards, guidelines, and industry best practices while creating technical drawings.
3. Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create accurate and precise drawings, incorporating necessary dimensions, annotations, and symbols.
4. Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including drawings, schedules, and material list, for construction or manufacturing purposes.
5. Make necessary revisions or modifications to drawings as directed by project managers or design professionals to accommodate changes or resolve issues.
6. Collaborate with engineers, project managers and other stakeholders to understand design requirements, address queries, and coordinate drafting activities.
7. Perform quality checks on drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance with design standards and project specifications.
8. Organize and maintain electronic and physical files of drawings and related documentation, ensuring easy retrieval and version control.
9. Any other ad hoc task from superior or management.
