Job description

Reporting to the Senior Director, Transportation Procurement, the Supply Chain Services Leader for APAC will be responsible for shaping and executing global sourcing and supplier management strategies across the Transportation and Capital Construction Facilities Services (CCFS) Procurement categories. This role partners closely with regional business teams—including Deliver and GTTO—to ensure effective supplier selection, contract management, and alignment with go-to-market initiatives.

Additionally, you will champion capital improvement initiatives and drive category and spend performance strategies by leveraging tools and capabilities such as category strategy, market intelligence, and advanced sourcing.

A key focus of the role is to build strong relationships with APAC business partners, deeply understand their needs, and ensure supply chain services deliver measurable value. You will also provide direct oversight and support to local CCFS team members, fostering a high-performing regional Supply Chain Services team.

Key Responsibilities include:
  • Shape and execute global sourcing and supplier management strategies across Transportation and CCFS Procurement categories in APAC.
  • Partner closely with regional business teams—including Deliver and GTTO—to ensure effective supplier selection, contract management, and alignment with go-to-market initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with APAC business partners, understand their needs, and ensure supply chain services deliver measurable value.
  • Provide direct leadership and support to local CCFS team members, fostering a high-performing regional Supply Chain Services team.
  • Develop and implement regional procurement strategies aligned with business priorities across Transportation and CCFS categories.
  • Monitor industry trends and integrate insights into category strategies to support workforce and operational goals.
  • Lead a global category team in strategy development, execution, and supplier relationship management.
  • Collaborate with Deliver Operations and GTTO to support go-to-market events, including supplier identification and contracting.
  • Champion working capital improvements and optimize spend performance using advanced sourcing tools and analytics.
  • Utilize market intelligence, category excellence, and strategic sourcing to enhance supplier performance and value delivery.
  • Provide procurement leadership for capital, growth, and asset-related initiatives across the region.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure sourcing strategies deliver speed, reliability, and cost efficiency.
  • Lead cost improvement and avoidance initiatives through strategic sourcing, SRM, and innovation.
  • Support sustainability and emissions reduction goals through procurement practices.
  • Oversee transportation procurement operations, including policy development, process optimization, and technology enablement.
  • Negotiate service agreements with transportation providers, ensuring quality, transit time, and cost targets are met.
  • Resolve complex supplier issues and drive continuous improvement in procurement processes.
  • Strategize, select, manage, align, and implement global sourcing and supplier management strategies for Transportation Procurement categories in the APAC region.
  • Co‑lead and provide procurement subject‑matter expertise to Deliver Operations and GTTO for go‑to‑market events, focusing on identifying and contracting partners.
  • Drive working capital improvement initiatives and provide teams with insights and access to centralized analytics capabilities to achieve tangible improvement.
  • Develop and shape category and spend performance strategies, utilizing available capabilities and tools like category excellence, advanced sourcing, and market intelligence.
  • Provide procurement leadership and support stakeholders and business partners in progressing and delivering key capital, growth, and asset‑related projects.
  • Collaborate with project teams and external partners to design and execute sourcing, supplier selection, and supplier relationships, ensuring speed, reliability, and cost efficiency.
  • Create and implement cost improvement and avoidance initiatives through category strategies, sourcing, supplier relationship management (SRM), and innovation.
  • Contribute to sustainability and emissions reduction efforts aligned with organizational goals.
  • Oversee transportation procurement services operations, develop policies, standards, guidelines, technology, and procedures in the assigned area.
  • Negotiate service agreements and contracts with transportation companies, ensuring supplier quality, transit time, and cost performance goals are met.
  • Drive the resolution of complex supplier quality problems, improve business processes, and facilitate effective remediation techniques.
Required Minimum Education:
  • Bachelors Degree, MBA or further advanced degree is desirable
