Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership and direction to the Sales team, ensuring strategic alignment with hotel goals and market positioning.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business across all key segments -Corporate, Luxury, MICE, and Events.
- Collaborate with Revenue Management, Marketing, and operational departments to maximise profitability and ensure seamless execution of group and event bookings.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with top accounts, industry partners, and stakeholders to ensure long-term business growth.
- Oversee the preparation of annual sales plans, forecasts, and budgets, ensuring clear tracking of performance metrics and KPIs.
- Lead by example in client engagement, customer service, and after-sales support, promoting a culture of excellence and accountability within the team.
- Represent the hotel at major trade shows, roadshows, and client events to strengthen brand presence and develop new opportunities.
- Mentor and develop the sales team, fostering a collaborative, high-performance work environment focused on results and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Note: Due to Singapore’s foreign worker work pass restrictions, only Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered for this position.
- Degree or diploma in Hospitality, Sales & Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as an Associate Director of Sales or equivalent leadership role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong track record in managing sales teams and achieving targets across Corporate, Luxury, MICE, and Event Sales segments.
- Commercially savvy, highly motivated, and results-driven, with strong strategic thinking and business acumen.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport at all levels - internally and externally.
