Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Nursing to lead and oversee clinical nursing operations across multiple centres. This role is responsible for providing strategic leadership, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and implementing programmes that drive clinical excellence and improved patient outcomes. The Director of Nursing will collaborate closely with senior leadership, including the Chief Medical Officer, General Manager, and Operations Director, to ensure compliance, quality, and operational efficiency across all clinical teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and direction for nursing and clinical operations, including action plans, strategies, and implementation of best practices.
  • Oversee the quality of nursing care, ensuring adherence to established standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including nursing audits, service quality activities, and the adoption of new technologies.
  • Collect, monitor, and report data on clinical quality and outcomes, including investigations and CQI (Continuous Quality Improvement) activities.
  • Ensure smooth delivery of clinical services and optimal patient outcomes across all centres.
  • Provide oversight of audit processes to ensure compliance with local healthcare regulations.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop clinical teammates, providing constructive feedback and performance management.
  • Actively participate in strategic planning and operations reviews, providing insights and reports to senior management.
  • Build a collaborative and unified nursing team across multiple divisions.
  • Oversee manpower planning, staffing levels, and deployment of clinical teammates.
  • Work closely with HR/People Services in recruitment, professional development, and performance appraisals of clinical staff.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or healthcare-related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of dialysis or related clinical experience, with a strong track record of excellence.
  • At least 5 years of leadership experience with direct supervisory responsibilities.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability in team management, coaching, and mentorship.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence across functions.
  • In-depth understanding of clinical operations, nursing practices, and patient care processes.
  • Detail-oriented, with solid critical thinking and reasoning abilities.
  • Ability to effectively delegate, manage priorities, and drive results.
  • Previous experience in managing renal dialysis units, chemotherapy units or outpatient clinics is preferred but not necessary.
