ROLE

The Director of Media and Content is a leadership role responsible for developing and executing the company’s overall media and content strategy. This role ensures that the company’s messaging, branding, and media presence are cohesive, engaging, and impactful across all platforms. The Director oversees content creation, media campaigns, distribution channels, and team management to drive brand awareness, audience engagement, and business growth.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Media & Content Strategy
  • Develop and implement an integrated media and content strategy aligned with business objectives and brand positioning.
  • Define and maintain the company’s voice, tone, and messaging across all media channels.
  • Identify opportunities for content and media campaigns to drive engagement, lead generation, and thought leadership.
  • Plan and execute cross-platform campaigns, including digital, social, traditional media, and multimedia initiatives.
Content Creation & Oversight
  • Oversee creation of high-quality, engaging, and on-brand content, including articles, blogs, videos, infographics, social media posts, podcasts, and newsletters.
  • Ensure all content is optimized for SEO, audience engagement, and conversion.
  • Review and approve all content prior to publication to maintain brand standards.
  • Establish content calendars and production workflows to ensure timely delivery.
Media Management
  • Lead media planning, buying, and distribution efforts across digital and traditional platforms.
  • Develop and manage media partnerships, sponsorships, and collaborations.
  • Monitor media campaigns and analyze performance to optimize reach, engagement, and ROI.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends in media, content marketing, and emerging platforms.
Analytics & Reporting
  • Track content and media performance using analytics tools, providing actionable insights for strategy optimization.
  • Prepare regular reports and recommendations for senior management.
  • Use data-driven approaches to improve audience targeting, engagement, and campaign effectiveness.
Budgeting & Vendor Management
  • Manage budgets for media campaigns, content production, and external partnerships.
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors, agencies, and freelancers.
  • Ensure cost-effective media and content execution without compromising quality.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, product, communications, and executive teams to align media and content initiatives with company goals.
  • Support campaigns, product launches, and corporate initiatives with compelling media and content assets.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 8–12 years of experience in content creation, media, or communications, with at least 3–5 years in leadership roles.
  • Proven expertise in media strategy, content marketing, and digital platforms.
  • Strong leadership, project management, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling abilities.
  • Proficiency in content management systems, social media management tools, and analytics platforms.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Creative, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
