Our Finance Advisory practiceprovides suite of service offerings to CFO and the Finance communities in building the future of finance to drive Business ambitions. This involves building Finance functions with innovative, integrated combination of business and technology advice from strategy to execution, helping to solve our clients’ most complex business challenges.

Our team supports clients in their Transformation initiatives to enable high performing finance functions. Ourfocus areas include Finance Strategy & Operating Models, Value & Performance Management, Business & Finance Transformation.

We are seeking an experienced consulting professional who will drive the continued growth of our Finance Advisory practice – both by developinga portfolio of businessbuilt onvalued relationships with external clients and by staying ahead with innovative solutions & offerings to meet our clients’ needs.

Your Role and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain trust-based relationships with key senior finance, management executives to serve the client needs
  • Lead business development and client pursuit with market insights, generation of leads and development of quality proposals to secure wins
  • Stay abreast of emerging technology enablement, market trends to develop and deliver innovative solutions that value-add to our client and differentiates KPMG
  • Work with client CFOs and senior management in the region - accelerating KPMG Finance Advisory practice, having expertise in finance & operation processes, technology landscape, program and change management
  • Lead effectively and deliver quality client engagements, and collaborate with senior finance executives, their team and our internal teams to deliver comprehensive and integrated solutions, including:
  • Manage cross-functional teams with diverse culture and skills
  • Drive high-quality deliverables within time and budget
  • Manage risks, progress and budget
  • Manage expectations of stakeholders of service delivery
  • Demonstrate expertise and in-depth experience in the areas of developing a vision for the Finance organization and realizing the vision through large scale transformations encompassing finance process redesign, service delivery model development, and technology implementations
  • Foster innovative and high-performing culture by cultivating individual and team strengths
About You:
  • Degree in Accounting/Finance related discipline from a reputable University, with strong skills and experience in finance and business operational processes
  • Minimum 8 to 10 years of relevant experience including Consulting (Finance) background with demonstrated skills in building pipeline, managing projects and communicating effectively with clients and teams
  • Strong industry experience in Infrastructure, Government & Healthcare sector in the finance & operation function would be preferred
  • Other sector experiences would be considered such as Asset Management, Retail, Shipping, Transportation and Logistics, etc.)
  • Strong market focus with ability to identify and build new opportunities and client relationships and proven ability to write and shape value propositions
  • Experience managing senior stakeholders, providing constructive challenge and robust advice to the senior management including C-suite. Development of strategic Finance and IT relationships with C-suite decision makers
  • Experience across the complete lifecycle of Transformation (i.e. ERP, EPM) projects, from concept through execution and ongoing operations
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with a track record of senior executive level engagement
  • Characteristics of a forward thinker and self-motivator that thrives on new challenges and adapts quickly to learning new knowledge
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage a team of junior consulting professionals
