Job summary

A leading cloud technology company in Singapore is seeking a skilled IT Infrastructure Engineer to maintain and implement IT systems on both Windows and Linux platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with AWS, along with virtualization, networking, and proficiency in Mandarin. This position requires flexible working hours including weekends and public holidays, focusing on cloud operations and technical support.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Windows and Linux based IT infrastructure maintenance and implementation;
• Provide technical support and system administration on cloud platform to meet service level objectives.
• Execution of data backup & recovery strategy, system disaster recovery and business continuity of the core systems;
• Follow-up security remediations on cloud platform suggested by cybersecurity team;
• Facilitate cloud operation automation;
• Perform cloud operation task such as health check, capacity monitoring, problem solving and escalation in line with company guidelines or standard operating procedures;
• Configure, document, optimize and support the components ofthe DevOps infrastructure
• Build automated deployments using configuration management technologies
• Provide support and maintain Production, Staging and Dev environments
• Need to shift on weekends and public holidays / flexible working hours on request.

Requirements

• Bachelor or postgraduate degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or related disciplines;
• Knowledge and hands‑on experience in IT of virtualization, server, storage, network, etc.;
• Experience in setting up Windows Server, Linux Server (Ubuntu/CentOS/RHEL), Network configuration/RPM packaging;
• Experience in Blockchain & Web3 infrastructure.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience organizing infrastructure and configuration as code using Ansible, CloudFormation, Terraform or equivalent
• Experience working with modern development pipelines using Bamboo, ArgoCD or similar tools
• Extensive hands‑on experience with AWS infrastructure
• Excellent team player. Being able to communicate well with internal team members and external clients as project progresses.
• Proficiency in Mandarin (verbal and written) is a must.
• Experience with ElasticSearch / Datadog
