Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Architecture Design: Lead the design and implementation of scalable, automated, and secure cloud infrastructure. Define best practices for the development, deployment, and monitoring of systems and services.
• Automation: Develop and manage automation tools to streamline deployment processes, reduce manual tasks, and improve operational efficiency.
• CI/CD Pipeline: Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure faster and more reliable deployments.
• Cloud Infrastructure Management: Manage and optimize cloud resources (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure), ensuring systems are scalable, cost-efficient, and secure.
• Monitoring and Performance Optimization: Implement and manage monitoring and logging solutions to proactively identify and resolve issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to integrate DevOps practices, improve system reliability, and ensure smooth software delivery.
• Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices, including access management, encryption, and automated vulnerability scanning, to ensure the security of infrastructure and applications.
• Troubleshooting and Incident Management: Lead the troubleshooting of production issues, including root cause analysis and coordination of remediation efforts across teams.
• Mentorship: Provide leadership and mentorship to junior DevOps engineers, guiding them in implementing best practices and improving technical skills.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, cloud infrastructure management, or related fields.
  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership or architect role, designing and implementing large-scale systems and infrastructures.
  • Extensive experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar.
  • Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure.
  • Expertise in containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools.
  • Hands‑on experience with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
