Job description

Role: Developer

Job Level: More than 6 years of relevant experience (L3/L4)

Duration: 12 Months

Responsibilities

• Hands‑on Java server‑side coding to build a real‑time E‑Trading system.
• Collaborate with web UI developers; optionally perform simple front‑end React JS work depending on candidate’s UI skills.
• Write automated tests to ensure code quality.
• Participate in peer‑to‑peer code and design reviews and be open to constructive feedback.
• Work with Business Analysts and Project Managers to implement requirements.
• Perform code deployments, releases, and other repetitive tasks on a rotational basis. Candidates are encouraged to automate processes where possible.
• Optionally, give demos to business users of the application.

Requirements

• Knowledge or experience in developing Java server applications using the Spring framework.
• Experience in RESTful API development, security, and testing.
• Familiarity with Java development design patterns.
• Understanding of Test Driven Development (TDD) and DevOps practices.
• Experience with relational databases, especially Oracle.
• Experience with test automation.
• Ability to work in an Agile team with constantly changing requirements.
• Financial domain knowledge is optional, but the candidate must be willing to learn.
