Job description

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, the Deputy Finance Manager (Treasury) will play a key role in supporting the treasury operations for Woh Hup Group’s regional entities. The role offers exposure to regional cash management, banking relationships, and treasury controls, with opportunities to contribute to process improvements and digital transformation initiatives.

Given the dynamic nature of the business, the below is a non-exhaustive list of deliveries expected from the candidate. However, it covers the foundation responsibilities and capabilities required for success in this role.

Responsibilities
  • Cash and Liquidity Management: Assist in monitoring daily cash positions, short-term forecasting, and ensuring timely fund availability for APAC entities.
  • Banking Coordination: Maintain relationships with banking partners, support account services, documentation, and FX transactions.
  • Treasury Operations: Execute payment processes, intercompany funding, and ensure adherence to internal controls and local regulations.
  • Risk and Compliance: Track FX exposures, assist in implementing hedging strategies, and prepare reports for compliance and audit requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to treasury system enhancements and workflow efficiency projects.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular treasury reports and analysis for management review.
  • Support Strategic Projects: Assist in treasury-related aspects of new market entries, system upgrades, and capital structure planning.
  • Adherence to safety in the workplace
Qualifications
  • A degree in Finance, Accountancy, Banking, or equivalent.
  • 6 – 10 years of relevant finance experience, with at least 5 years in APAC treasury operations.
  • Familiarity with cash management, FX, and banking practices in Asia / UK / Australia
  • Hands‑on experience with treasury management systems and ERP platforms.
  • Confident in managing large and complex data sets in Excel and digital environments.
  • Effective communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Attention to detail, results‑oriented, and proactive in driving continuous improvement.
  • MNC experience and exposure to construction/asset‑heavy industries would be valued.
