Job Summary

We are seeking a strategic finance leader for the role of Deputy Director, Group Finance, serving as the Business Finance Lead for the Project Management Business and Global Business Function. In this role, you will partner closely with the Chief Executive, Project Management, and Global Business Leader to drive financial strategy, performance management, and value creation across the assigned business lines. You will oversee financial planning processes, provide commercial insights, collaborate with key stakeholders to influence strategic decisions, and ensure alignment with global compliance standards and corporate objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the business line’s global finance function.
  • Partner with C-suite and regional leadership to drive business growth, optimize financial performance, and support strategic decision-making.
  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes. Drive alignment between corporate objectives and operational execution.
  • Oversee business performance reviews and lead in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across regions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with IFRS/GAAP and relevant local regulations.
  • Oversee cash flow management, capital structure, risk management, and funding strategies.
  • Provide financial analysis and strategic insights to support decision-making processes.
  • Provide actionable insights on margin improvement, pricing strategies, cost optimization, and capital allocation to drive sustainable value.
  • Assess financial risks and opportunities, identify areas for improvement, and propose recommendations to optimize financial performance.
  • Support finance-related transformation initiatives, including ERP upgrades, automation, reporting standardization, and integration of newly acquired entities.
  • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals to promote a collaborative culture and work environment.
Requirements
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA and/or CPA/ACCA is preferred.
  • 12 to 15 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a global or regional leadership role.
  • Strong strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to financial operations.
  • Proven experience working in complex, matrixed, and multicultural environments.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills.
