Job description
What the role is:

Provide leadership, direction and supervision for Professional Military Education curriculum development under the Joint Faculty, and provide direct support to establish the Digital and Intelligence Service (DIS) Faculty.

What you will be working on:
  • Provide leadership, direction and supervision for Professional Military Education curriculum development
  • Provide direct support to establish Digital and Intelligence Service Faculty
  • Assume Course Director responsibilities
  • Assist Commandant Goh Keng Swee Command and Staff College (GKS CSC) and Head Faculty (DIS) on course programming and execution
  • Oversee the assessment of student performance and professional growth
  • Supervise a team as well as students who will become commanders and staffers
  • Convert in-depth understanding of organizations and security procedures into material and opportunities for learning and developing participants
  • Challenge(s): Having in-depth understanding of the organisations and security procedures involved in the various aspects of Joint and DIS Operations
What we are looking for:
  • At least 20 years in military operations expertise
  • Background in Security Studies, International Relations, Campaign War Studies, Curriculum Design or Development
  • Strong leadership and supervisory capabilities
  • Experience in training, curriculum development, joint exercises, coaching and mentoring
  • Experience in planning, coordinating and executing courses
  • Ability to maintain academic standards and rigorous evaluation processes
