Job summary

A leading dental surgery clinic in Singapore seeks a dedicated dental assistant to support the dental surgeon in patient care and clinic operations. Responsibilities include assisting in dental procedures, managing patient bookings, and ensuring a sterile environment. Candidates with healthcare experience and knowledge of dental treatment will be preferred. This full-time position offers a chance to join a dynamic team in a fast-paced work environment.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the healthcare field.
  • Preferably Non-Executive specialized in Healthcare - Nurse/Medical Support & Assistant or equivalent.
  • Good knowledge of dental procedures and treatment procedures is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Assist dental surgeon in procedures and minor dental surgeries.
  • Prepare the work area for patient treatment and maintain overall clinic cleanliness.
  • Answer phone calls and schedule patient appointments.

Job description

Job Duties
  • Assist dental surgeon in procedures and minor dental surgeries
  • Prepare the work area for patient treatment by setting out required dental instruments and materials
  • Sterilize & pouching of dental instruments
  • Maintain the overall sterility, cleanliness and neatness of the clinic at all time & basic housekeeping throughout the clinics
  • Assist in taking xrays
  • Preparation of next day cases
  • Checking of lab cases
  • Clearing suction and all instruments at end day
  • Ensure professional services are provided to patients
  • Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
  • Basic administrative duties

Required Skill(s)

Customer service, Booking patient appointments, discharging patients, accepting payments, Hospitality, Proficient with Computer software for electronic medical records, Microsoft excel, Microsoft word and using computer effectively.

At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Preferably Non-Executive specialized in Healthcare - Nurse/Medical Support & Assistant or equivalent.

APPLICATIONS WITH WORK EXPERIENCE IN HEALTHCARE INDUSTRY OR GOOD KNOWLEDGE OF DENTAL PROCEDURES AND TREATMENT PROCEDURES WILL HAVE AN ADVANTAGE.

Working hours : 9am to 5pm weekdays | 9am to 1pm weekends

11 sessions (not exceeding 44 hours/week)
