Job description

Responsibilities

• Support the Finance Manager in the monitoring and analysis of performance data such as KPI and productivity reports, as well as financial data such as billing reports and account P&L
• Prepare the warehouse operational report and ensure actual cost are kept within budget.
• Identify opportunities and implement cost-saving initiatives to reduce operational costs without compromising service level.
• Assist team member to provide creative and innovative approaches to solve different kinds of supply chain problems.
• Collaborate with different team members to fine-tune existing solutions within the warehouse or implement new software.
• Assist in determining the factors of errors in Business Central and provide solutions for rectification.
• Spearhead continuous improvement projects within the warehouse, from process gap identification to solution design and implementation, as well as operational change management.
• Work closely with large datasets to retrieve data and compile it into digestible and actionable dashboards for effective decision making.
• Proactively monitor the trends in the reports, understand the changes on the warehouse utilisation or operational environment and work together with Operations Manager to explore reasons behind and actions to drive performances accordingly.
• Prepare Jet Reports for departments if needed and assist in resolving the Jet Reports issues (Will be migrating to Power BI).
• Prepare monthly reports such as
• Stock balance reports and billing reports for 3PL & 4PL clients
• Sample report for Inter-company
• Warehouse utilisation report (Migrant to Power BI)
• Secondary assembly services billing for Inter-company
• Support Operations Manager in business development efforts through maintenance of customer satisfaction and solutioning of value creation opportunities (3PL & 4PL).
• Review 3PL, 4PL, inter-company W&D agreements and assist in preparing agreements.
• Review external warehouse agreements and assist in renewing.
• Attend to other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in computer science.
• Work experience as a data analyst or in a related field.
• Ability to work with stakeholders to assess potential risks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables)
• Power BI and Business Central will be a plus
• Detailed oriented and numbers driven.
• Good understanding of the value creation in supply chain with respect to the overall business objective.
• Ability to analyze existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations.
• High-level experience in methodologies and processes for managing large-scale databases.
• Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases.
• Understanding of addressing and metadata standards.
• High-level written and verbal communication skills.
