  • Relevant Cybersecurity certifications are beneficial.

Job description

We are assisting our client, an established IT Solutions Provider, to hire a Cybersecurity Engineer to augment their existing Professional services team.

Responsibilities
  • Identification, Protection, and Documentation of critical assets.
  • Set up complete access control measures & develop documentation.
  • Conduct Vulnerability assessment within IM8 requirements and Perform Patch management.
  • Provide advisory on the feasibility and functionality of new cybersecurity enhancements.
  • Perform network and system security identification and documentation.
  • Provide incident support from investigation to closure, and documentation.
  • Creation of Cyber Security Playbooks for incident response procedures.
  • Conduct Cybersecurity awareness and related training/briefing sessions.
  • Setup/Configuration of DHCP, Radius, Firewall rules, Firmware, IP addresses, DNS, and GroupPolicies etc.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree Holder in Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, particularly with operational systems.
  • Knowledge of government regulatory requirements such as IM8 and CCoP, firewalls, network switches, and servers.
  • Possess practical knowledge of cybersecurity incident handling, IT infrastructure security, computer security, and network security.
  • Relevant Cybersecurity certifications are beneficial; those with practical hands‑on cybersecurity experience will be at an advantage.
