Job summary

A financial cooperative organization in Singapore is seeking a candidate for a 3-year contract position involving member service and team leadership. The role includes evaluating credit worthiness, advising on loans, and processing applications. Ideal candidates will have a Diploma in a finance-related field and at least 5 years of experience in finance positions. This on-site role is integral for customer interactions and may lead to a permanent position.

Responsibilities & Duties:
  • Respond to members’ requests in a respectful and timely manner via counter visits, emails, WhatsApp and telephone calls

  • Evaluate members’ credit worthiness

  • Advise members on loan eligibility and how to maximise savings opportunities

  • Process and approve loans

  • Process savings applications and withdrawals

  • Expand and retain membership base

  • Participate in recruitment of new members

  • Collaborate with the Marketing team in the organisation and planning of events for members and community

  • Update savings and loan rates offer by financial institutions weekly

  • Update members’ particulars

  • Update website and social media platforms

  • Update and review Standard Operating Procedures/Administrative Guidelines periodically

  • Archive documents digitally

  • Compile and submit reports to management and regulators

Leading a team of CSOs to attend to members by:
  • Respond to members’ requests in a respectful and timely manner via counter visits, emails, WhatsApp and telephone calls
