Customer Service Assistant

Job Description: We are looking for motivated and friendly individuals to join a dynamic team providing vital support at multiple service centres across the island. This temporary position will run from February to May 2026, helping to accommodate a significant increase in public visits.

As part of the team, you will assist citizens with a variety of tasks related to the LPA (Lasting Power of Attorney) application process. Your role will involve helping with enquiries, guiding individuals through the application process, checking LPA statuses, processing payments, and supporting any other service-related needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist members of the public with LPA-related inquiries
  • Guide citizens through the process of drafting, submitting, and revoking an LPA
  • Support in making payments for LPA services
  • Provide excellent customer service while managing a high volume of walk-in visitors
  • Ensure a smooth, positive experience for all visitors
Requirements
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Friendly, approachable, and helpful character
  • Ability to remain calm and patient when dealing with demanding customers
  • Willingness to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Minimum qualification: N Levels, O Levels, A Levels, Nitec, Higher Nitec, Diploma, or Degree
  • Experience is a plus, but not mandatory

Salary: From $1,980 - $3,160 per month

Contract Duration: 3 months (Feb - May 2026)
