Job summary

Job description
Responsibilities:
  • Source for new seafarer from the crew manning agencies.
  • Arrange for interview for senior officers with the respective department head.
  • Check seafarer's certificates, including arrangement for medical check-up as per Charterer's requirement.
  • Check of seafarer's certificate authenticity with the relevant authority and application for Flag State licence.
  • Ensure seafarer's certificates/documents are valid and uploaded in the crewing system.
  • Ensure all vessels comply with the minimum safe manning requirements.
  • Liaise with crew manning agents and port agents for crew joining/repatriation, including booking of flight and visa application.
  • Update crew planning/rotation list and crew list.
  • Monitor seafarer's certificates/documents expiry.
  • Ensure crew appraisal assessment is being conducted, signed and uploaded in the crewing system.
  • Update of crew change (sign on/off) via MPA DigitPort portal for Singapore-flagged vessels.
  • Verify all crew-related invoices.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Manager-In-Charge of Crewing.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Diploma holder in any discipline.
  • Experience: at least 1 year of relevant crew manning experience in the Maritime industry.
  • Pleasant personalities mature, with good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive, take initiative and well organized.
  • Able to work fast under pressure.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently
