POSITION OVERVIEW

The Corporate Services Director leads and drives all corporate functions that support the Association’s operations and strategic goals. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), this senior management role ensures excellence across HR, Finance, Administration, IT, Procurement, Facilities, and Corporate Governance.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Strategic Leadership & Governance
  • Shape and implement corporate services strategies aligned with the Association’s social mission and statutory performance metrics.
  • Develop and maintain corporate policies, compliance frameworks, and internal audit systems.
  • Support the Board and senior management by preparing Board materials and governance reporting.
2. Human Resources
  • Oversee recruitment, staff onboarding, performance management, and talent development.
  • Enhance employee engagement, learning programs, and succession planning.
  • Ensure HR practices comply with the Employment Act and other local legislation.
3. Finance & Procurement
  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and forecasting.
  • Ensure internal controls, support audits, strengthen compliance, and optimize procurement.
4. IT & Digital Transformation
  • Oversee digital initiatives to improve data management, service automation, and information security.
  • Oversee IT infrastructure planning, oversight, and ongoing vendor management.
5. Administration & Facilities Management
  • Ensure smooth office operations, including office services, facility maintenance, vendor relationships, and workplace health and safety.
  • Coordinate logistics for key events, Board meetings, and Association-wide activities.
6. Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting
  • Build strong relationships with government agencies (e.g., AIC, NCSS, MSF), donors, and service providers.
  • Coordinate preparation of reports for board, funders, and regulatory agencies.
7. Others
  • Assist CEO with Communications and Partnerships function.
  • To undertake any other duties in accordance with the exigencies of the service or as directed by the CEO.
Qualifications & Experience
1. Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred (e.g., Business, HR, Finance, Public Administration).
2. Experience:
  • Minimum 10+ years in corporate services leadership across functions like HR, finance, IT, and administration.
  • Experience within the social service sector or non-profit environment is advantageous.
3. Technical Knowledge:
  • Familiarity with Singapore statutes: Charities Act, Companies Act, Employment Act, AIC/MSF/NCSS compliance requirements.
  • Expertise in audit processes, funder accounting standards, and corporate governance practices.
4. Personal Traits:
